Cold Cured PUR Components

Polyurethane parts are produced through a chemical reaction between a diisocyanate and a polyol. First developed in late 1930s, polyurethanes are some of the most versatile polymers.

Their durability and light weight, combined with their strength, make them ideal not only for cushioning purposes, but also within the bodies of cars.

Because polyurethanes are so strong and light, their use means that the overall weight of cars is reduced, resulting in greater fuel efficiency and improved environmental performance.

Polyurethane foams insulation properties provide protection against the heat and noise of the engine. They are also used as insulation and or soundproofing.
